OF A YOUTH TODAY
Purpose
PFS Communities, Inc (PFS) , a non-for-profit 501(c)3 local organization, creates virtual communities and support systems designed to facilitate personal, professional and social development and growth, of youths-in-need and at-risk youths.
Over the last 10 years, PFS has implemented educational, intramural, interdisciplinary and intergenerational, opportunities for youths & adults to facilitate successful entries into the workforce, pursue entrepreneurial ventures and/or enter and graduate from college.
Target Markets
Although PFS Communities, Inc's initial desire is to target and serve at-risk youth, no youth or young adults will be turned away. We will always have a role for high risk kids, youths in need, young adults, adults and youths who simply want to serve as volunteers or mentors.
Programs
Starting as early as one (1) year old and officially completing our programs at the age of 26 years, the young people are offered a variety of classes that are designed to supplement their regular daycare, primary, secondary and post-secondary educations.
Participants' families are encouraged to
participate in supplemental activities and/or family oriented programs that are available within our extended communities.
PFS Communities, Inc has identified 3 areas of needs that will serve as pivotal themes for our programs and activities:
1) A need to prepare our youths for an advance education.
2) A need to assist those individuals who want to start their own businesses.
3) A need to prepare our youths to be a part of a productive workforce.
